Entropia

1. Ideation

The other night, I dreamt I saw, from my bedroom window, sticky blood dripping into a pool of sweet syrup, down the mountainscape. I couldn’t taste it, but I knew it was sweet. I just did. It dripped and dripped and dripped and I watched, mesmerized, frozen.

Blood flows down from the mountain and I watch it all and I wish I could reach out and feel its touch and its taste and be enveloped by it. Somehow, I know it’s sweet.

2. Degradation

I know that I’ll die soon.

I can feel it. I’ve seen it happen over and over again. in my dreams, awake, half-awake, halfway there, halfway somewhere else. I’ve seen it in long expanses of road, the dim street lights over the high way. Unknowing highways. foreign highways, foreign touches.

All the way between here and somewhere else. It felt like a waking dream. I want to wake up. I don’t know what i want.

3. Perversion

I don't even feel the pleasure anymore, I go on because I must. because there's no other way, anyways. I put my faith in the fact my body won't betray me and it always does. mental assault, total devastation of the senses, autoflagellation, antropophagy. self-inflicted cannibalism, little death.

4. Desecration

I swear that, in this labyrinth of filth and copper, I will stand by your side. Run my hands through your hair as if combing through what's left. This soil has seen worse than the likes of you and I and yet I believe it shall never see me again.

My body, unrestrained, unbounding, I will house it all within me, I will swallow your sickness and carry it upon me, I will face its shattering fate.

5. Rebirth

My body grew out of me and through me like a butterfly.
